Serenades of Spain
solo recital

Spain and the guitar – an inseparable pair. Serenades of Spain goes beyond clichés – it reveals the profound, multifaceted musical heritage of this country and the guitar. Three guitars take the listener on a unique journey through Spain: the baroque guitar, the romantic guitar, and the classical guitar.

This program features music by Spanish composers as well as those inspired by Spain and blends Flemish Renaissance court music with playful baroque dance, expressive romanticism, neocasticism, impressionistic colours, and folklore— a rich mosaic of Spain’s musical history and that of the guitar. The repertoire includes original music and Emma's arrangements from the Flemish Emmanuel Adriaenssen, folk music by Gaspar Sanz on baroque guitar, original compositions for the Romantic guitar, works by Paco De Lucía, Pablo De Sarasate, Fernando Sor, Joaquin Rodrigo, the Sainz de la Maza brothers and more.

The full album ''Serenades of Spain'' released on 5th September 2025, listen here.

'4-7-8'
solo recital

Wills' second program '4-7-8' is an emotional journey featuring music by composers who often have more than one identity and lay claim to various artistic traditions, genres, or audiences. The repertoire ranges from John Dowland to Johann Sebastian Bach, Federico Mompou to Francis Poulenc, and from Joni Mitchell to Marc Ribot.

Named after a calming breathing technique, 4-7-8 invites the listener into a space of stillness and vulnerability.

Stretching almost 5 centuries, this program is inspired by breathing and themes of reflection, meditation, and hope, exploring the guitar's versatile sounds and creating a deeply personal narrative of self-soothing and fragility.

Duo Como
accordion - guitar

Duo Como’s musical taste reaches far beyond traditional boundaries. Emma Wills (guitar) and Sebastian Enriques (accordion) share a love for light, elegant classical music from past and present, the vibrant energy of jazz, outspoken rhythms, film music, and warm southern influences.

Given the rarity of original repertoire for guitar and accordion, Duo Como arranges for the brilliant combination of their instruments. Their performances exude joy, playfulness and a deep desire to create music together. With great virtuosity, these two musicians effortlessly traverse from light and uplifting melodies to dark and melancholic atmospheres.

Their name, inspired by a cherished trip to Italy’s lake Como, perfectly reflects the spirit they bring to every performance — friendship, musicality, and the simple, pure pleasure of playing together.

Nova

Duo Como

Nova, a vibrant and forward-looking classical program in which Duo Como further expands their repertoire for guitar and accordion. In this program, Sebastian and Emma open up their own arrangements, exploring the full expressive range of this uncommon instrumental combination. Drawing inspiration from composers such as A. Vivaldi, C. Saint-Saëns, M. Pujol and P. Glass, they reshape well-known works into a living, breathing dialogue between strings and bellows. In Nova, the audience hears Camille Saint-Saëns’ celebrated Danse Macabre for the first time in Duo Como’s own arrangement for accordion and guitar. Works such as Mishima by Philip Glass and Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Mandolins in G are likewise reimagined, dressed in a new sonic language that brings this instrumental pairing vividly to life.

Duo Leora
voice and guitar

Sometimes musicians find each other at just the right moment. Soprano Fleur Strijbos and guitarist Emma Wills had crossed paths for years during their studies, but it wasn’t until Walden Festival 2024, organized by the national radio station, Klara, that they realized something special was happening. Their voices – one vocal, the other instrumental – blended seamlessly. Duo Leora was born.

Gracias a la vida

Duo Leora

With their debut program 'Gracias a la vida' they immediately enchanted a full Citizens’ Garden in Brussels. This was only the beginning. With Musica et Poetica, they embarked on a house concert tour across Belgium – from cosy city flats to hidden gems in the countryside – bringing their music straight to the people, in an atmosphere of intimacy and authenticity.

With the name “Leora,”derived from the Hebrew and Greek word for “light'', they bring classical music with a fresh flair: expressive, playful, and deeply heartfelt. A duo that embraces tradition, yet dares to explore its boundaries.

Songs by Rodrigo, Obradors, Parra, De Falla, Granados, Weill and more. Including Duo Leora's arrangements.

In the quiet hour

Duo Leora

Sometimes the night feels as if you are floating between two worlds — not fully awake, not fully asleep. In that twilight zone, on that threshold, the sublime takes place: dreams and reality brush against each other, desires and memories come alive, fears can suddenly overwhelm you, and moments of wonder emerge.

In In the quiet hour, Duo Leora guides you through this liminal space. Songs from different eras and cultures whisper of sleep and awakening, of fears and nightmares, gentle dreams, and everything in between. Voice and guitar weave a musical dialogue that softly carries you to that place where time seems to stand still.

Songs by De Boeck, Debussy, De Jong, Duparc, Fauré, F. Hensel Mendelssohn, Pfitzner, and Webern. Including Duo Leora's arrangements.

Rebirth

Octavie & Emma

Rebirth

This evocative program breathes new life into long-forgotten sound worlds. Performing on historical instruments, the duo reveals the delicate richness of original 19th-century works by Friedrich Dotzauer and Frédéric Burgmüller. Their own arrangements bring fresh attention to overlooked gems by Fanny Hensel-Mendelssohn and Emilia Giuliani-Guglielmi — composers whose voices are finally being heard.

With expressive depth and refined artistry, they reimagine the virtuosic brilliance of Pablo de Sarasate, offering an unexpected yet compelling interpretation. The program culminates in a lyrical homage to the timeless beauty of Robert Schumann and Franz Schubert, making Rebirth a moving journey through the romantic imagination.
